His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To protect his home; and retire the richest man in the north

History: John lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: Kody wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Monk, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
