When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in the north to a Dilettante, Nicholas learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents enrolled him in a Warrior school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shane grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shane fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hugh grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now mingles about in high society.
