Description: He is a physically imposing dark-skinned man. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born to a Merchant, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A 5'3" southern man, he typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull blue iron scale mail. His blonde hair has been sun bleached extensively. His skin is flawless and his green eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Soapmaker for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and yellow, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are hazel and beady.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

He dresses in brown turtlenecks beneath a white coat with red slacks. His white hair is heavily combed to the left. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with top hat. His blonde hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are green.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
