Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerald was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Gerald and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He's also a talented Mayor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
