Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Sellsword work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

After coming to the age of reason, Robert took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
