Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He got into the Butcher business at a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Butcher for hire.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'1" when asserting himself. His red hair is lengthy. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Justin was born with his father's beautiful face. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His long auburn hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His green eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Richard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: Money/treasure.

He carries with him a set of axes on his belt, each one with a amber on the hilt. His golden hair has been sun bleached extensively. His blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature axe.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
