History: Theodoric was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theodoric fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: An older man who wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame, he is not a threatening figure. His chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: Balimaar wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Balimaar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Balimaar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has achieved small success as a Detective.

Motivation: To be a Miner again; and balancing his hectic life and new detective responsibilities is difficult
