His mother taught him the rudiments of the Map Maker arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He worked as a nervous Map Maker and found it very stressful. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Map Maker.

His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
