History: Born in the north to a Fortune-teller, Dean learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He married young, but lost his spouse to brigands. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'5" when asserting himself. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and money/treasure

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Human compassion; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears dull white sweaters, loose grey pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed lance, just in case. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He is baby faced.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Herbalist arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His blonde hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has violet eyes and a white hat with a black feather.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down
