History: The child of a Butcher, who enjoyed hunting, Adelard was taken on many hunting expeditions. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
