Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Gilbert was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Armorer for hire.
