He found a children's book about a Human Rogue who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Roger is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
