History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Map Maker. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Ralf abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and to reunite with his old friends

History: Patrick hails from a village terrorized by giants. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Butcher for the past few years.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and many giants want him driven away

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Gilbert will drive conversation. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born in the south to a Ploughman, Gilbert learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He found a children's book about a Human Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
