History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Richard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and revenge
