History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He found a children's book about a Human Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Guard arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has achieved small success as a Guard.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
