History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. In his youth he was a Blacksmith, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Blacksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Fisher, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Shipwright but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Adelard took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland.
