Reynard Stapleton, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: He is a mite stocky and wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His hair is silver and curly. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Reynard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he feels threatened by others

Ideals: Fighting. Flaws: Cynical, Fearful. Bonds: Attractive, Mentor. Occupation: Scribe

Voice: Squeaky

He has a long chestnut beard with little hanging trinkets. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: He was born in the east. A gifted student he started as a Shepherd, but he got bored and became a Mayor. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mayor for the past few years.

Percival Conway, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears a brown vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His blue leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his brown boots flare out at the collars. His long red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His violet unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Percival lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Dean Harley, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep white leather and dull green iron scale mail. He has done his best to style his golden hair to look like a famous performer. He has gray eyes.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Fortune-teller business.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Fortune-teller for hire.

He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Frederick was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel.
