Patrick Rodney, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Standing 6'5", this man prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His long golden hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: Patrick was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: To be a Painter again; and he has money and likes to spend it
Ideals: Fighting. Flaws: Insane, Cynical. Bonds: Rich, Nature, Job. Occupation: Bather
Voice: Hard of hearing, loud

Conrad Digby, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he likes to wear brown tank tops with red pants. He sports a long white beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has a dull look in his gray eyes.
Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.
History: He was born in a small mountains village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Conrad took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up morningstar and armor he uses now. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it
Ideals: Logical. Bonds: Enemies, Attractive, Nature. Occupation: Shepherd
Voice: Spits words with contempt

Frederick Wakefield, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is in excellent shape and wears a yellow shirt with thin red vertical stripes and violet pants. His hair is brown, silky, and of moderate length. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

History: Frederick hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Frederick alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Theodoric Ansley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A middle-aged man, he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, and is pretty ugly. His chestnut hair is greasy and uncared for. This violet eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: Many orcs want him driven away; and to share knowledge with the world
