His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Shane is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Shane lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and a deep hatred of brigands

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Weaver they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Painter, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son.
