History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He takes great joy in being the best Bounty Hunter in town.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bounty Hunter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bounty Hunter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has worked as a Bounty Hunter like his mother before him.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Hugh wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His first spouse was a Carpenter, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Barrister.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
