History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and balancing his hectic life and new healer responsibilities is difficult

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Server arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Bernard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
