History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. A freak accident while working with his Carter father left him crippled. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Alex was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sailor they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Merchant, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Merchant and was forced into it by his family; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with dancing. He constantly tries to fill his life with dancing. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
