History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Miles was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Geoffrey enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Geoffrey was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

History: Cory was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Cory was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Tanner. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

He has taken up work as a Fletcher and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.
