History: He was born into a rich family. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving William alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He worked as a nervous Navigator and found it very stressful. He has achieved small success as a Navigator.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Navigator responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept.
