History: Born in the east to a Ruler, Dean learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and balancing his hectic life and new ruler responsibilities is difficult

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
