History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Balimaar's homeland. Balimaar decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He bought a scythe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
