He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a Shepherd, his father struggled to pay the bills. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
