History: The child of a Soapmaker, who enjoyed hunting, Chad was taken on many hunting expeditions. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Chad never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He wears his black hair down. He has violet eyes.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Lance is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He bought a scythe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and regain custody of his son

Description: He dresses in grey turtlenecks beneath a brown coat with red slacks, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'5" when asserting himself. His hair is blonde, silky, and of moderate length. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Dean was born with his mother's beautiful face. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carter for the past few years.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: He is lean but muscular and tends to wear a brown poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His brown hair, when down, is lengthy. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered gnolls who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His moppish chestnut hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and balancing his hectic life and new apothecary responsibilities is difficult
