History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He got into the Jeweler business at a young age. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Alex alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently the stress of being a Jeweler has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and further expansion of business

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. A true patriot, Dean would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Laborer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Laborer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hammer.
