The war was a terrible time for him, and Adelard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a Barrister, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Adelard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he feels kind of lost in life

History: Justin was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His childhood dream was to be a Bricklayer, but he was a colossal failure. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Frederick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
