His first spouse was a Miller, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by vampirism.

History: Ralf hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
