History: Born in the west to a Laborer, Roland learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Laborer. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature dagger.
