Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'3" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with feathered hat. He wears his white hair down. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Jocelyn liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: This tall, slender man wears tan painted combat armor at almost all times. His white hair is heavily combed to the left. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his youth he was a Guard, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Personality: This man loves music and to teach people music more than just about anything. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has never given up on his music dream.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears long strands of opal and short black dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. He wears a feathered hat to cover his moderate length red hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Gomory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Gomory has worked very hard to control his curse. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
