Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving John alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. A true patriot, Alex would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Gifted from a young age, Alex studied abroad. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longbow.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
