History: Born in the north to a Layabout, Heward learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Chad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Roger is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Roger hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Beggar. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
