History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

His green eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Conrad lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: Bernard wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Druid, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. A gifted student he started as a Interpreter, but he got bored and became a Herbalist. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Interpreter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Herbalist, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to reunite with his absent mother

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Slave Trader arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.
