History: John was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Rolf alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
