History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Reynard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Reynard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Reynard and his spouse have recently divorced.

In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Shoemaker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shoemaker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Banker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
