Personality: Adelard hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Adelard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

History: He was born in the west. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
