He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He was born in the south. A freak accident while working with his Ruler father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Simon lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To unite with his brother.

He found a children's book about a Human Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero.
