History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: This late middle aged man wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents and is in decent physical shape. His brown hair has been sun bleached extensively. This amber eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Bernard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Soapmaker. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Carter; and balancing his hectic life and new soapmaker responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Rolf hails from a village terrorized by giants. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.
