Personality: He is a Cartwright first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Nicholas took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up rapier and armor he uses now. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

He prefers to carry a nunchaku, but if one is not available he will default to his shortbow. His blonde hair is greasy and uncared for. His green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He is a Lamia in disguise. He found a children's book about a Human Rogue who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gifted student he started as a Scribe, but he got bored and became a Detective. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Mason profession.

History: Born in the south to a Dilettante, Aldous learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
