Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Jocelyn lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Jocelyn's homeland. Jocelyn decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He takes great joy in being the best Guard in town.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His childhood dream was to be a Brewer, but he was a colossal failure. He has worked as a Guard like his father before him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
