Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He takes great joy in being the best Bowyer in town.

History: He got into the Bowyer business at a young age. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He became a Bowyer soon after.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His first spouse was a Scribe, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born in the north to a Map Maker, Shane learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Through the years after Shane was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north.
