He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He became a Shepherd soon after.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Adam's homeland. Adam decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Priest they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Glassblower, and he later adopted a second daughter.
