History: Roger was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
