Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Miles embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Miles liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Don was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Sailor. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
