History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bernard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Gunter was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears dull brown sweaters, loose blue pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed kukri, just in case. He has no hair. He has blue eyes.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a dyer and was forced into it by his family
