History: Hugh was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Wymar's homeland. Wymar decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone.
