History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Jocelyn has worked very hard to control his curse. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature club.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Slave Trader arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
